The Brick is good at isolating motion, thanks to foam comfort layers and a pocketed coil support core. The firm cover and denser foam help absorb motion across the mattress.
While the coil support system does lend some bounce, individually wrapped coils help minimize motion transfer. This is an especially appealing feature for couples and light sleepers, as movement is less likely to ripple across the bed.

Pros & Cons:
Allswell is a home furnishings company which aims to combine quality materials and craftsmanship with affordable pricing. The Walmart-owned brand offers a range of bedding and bath goods, including sheets, bed frames, pillows, blankets, and towels.
Allswell exclusively offers hybrid mattresses. The online retailer currently makes four models: Allswell, Brick, Luxe, and Allswell Supreme. Each design combines memory foam and pocketed coils, but pricing varies based on quality of materials, thickness, and other features.
The Allswell is the company’s flagship mattress and is the most budget-friendly of the four designs. At 10 inches thick, the Allswell also has the lowest profile. The 12-inch Luxe and Brick are taller, upgraded versions of the Allswell. The 14-inch Allswell Supreme is the company’s most expensive design. The Supreme offers additional cooling technology and superior edge support compared to the other models.
We will focus on the Brick, which is the firmer of Allswell’s two mid-priced models. We’ll break down the Brick’s materials, construction, and performance so you can determine if it’s the right fit.

Sleeping Style and Body Weight
Side Sleepers
People who sleep on their side typically require extra cushioning to prevent pressure buildup on their hips and shoulders. The Brick’s foam comfort layers can help avoid pressure points by contouring to these sensitive areas. While the quilted foam cover adds some plushness, it is still on the firmer side.
The mattress’ mild cradling and firm (7) overall feel is better suited for side sleepers over 130 pounds. Side sleepers under 130 pounds might not experience sufficient cushioning to prevent pressure points. These sleepers will likely fare better with one of Allswell’s softer models, like the Supreme.
Back Sleepers
As the name suggests, the Brick is a firm mattress that provides excellent support to the weight-bearing lumbar region. A mattress that is too soft will cause the back to sink too deeply, which can throw off body alignment and lead to aches and pains.
The Brick provides plenty of support for back sleepers in any weight category, though its firm feel is more suitable for those over 130 pounds who require less cushioning.
Stomach Sleepers
A firmer mattress is typically a better choice for stomach sleepers, since sinkage in the midsection puts strain on the spine. The Brick’s substantial support core and dense polyfoam helps prevent excess sinkage across all weight groups.

Mattress Performance
In addition to the hands-on feedback from our team, we conduct a number of quantitative tests in our Test Lab. The below ratings are based on the experience of our testers.
Allswell Brick Mattress Review Breakdown
The Allswell Brick Mattress has a hybrid design that combines memory foam and pocketed coils. It is the firmest Allswell model and registers as a 7 on the 10-point firmness scale.
The Brick has a quilted swirl foam cover containing gel infusions intended to draw excess heat away from the mattress’ surface.
Beneath the cover is a 1-inch copper-infused memory foam comfort layer. The memory foam conforms to the body while helping to prevent pressure points. The use of copper is intended to conduct heat away from the sleeper. The antimicrobial properties of copper are thought to reduce odors associated with bacteria buildup.
A second comfort layer comprises 2 inches of high-density polyfoam. This layer is a buffer between the softer memory foam and the sturdier coil system below. The foam’s higher density helps prevent excess sinkage while encouraging proper spinal alignment.
The polyfoam comfort layer is followed by a coil support core, giving the mattress the bounce that many all-foam designs lack. Greater responsiveness also makes shifting positions easier.
The Brick’s coil system helps sleepers stay cool, since there is more space for air to circulate compared to dense foam. Individually pocketed coils reduce motion transfer, so movement on one side of the bed is less likely to be felt on the other. The Brick also uses sturdier coils along the perimeter for greater edge support. Reinforced edges increase usable surface area while also making it easier to get out of bed.

Allswell offers free mattress delivery to the contiguous U.S., excluding California. A $25 shipping fee applies to mattress orders in California. Products shipped to Alaska and Hawaii incur a $50 fee. The company currently does not ship to P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days. Shipments arrive on average within 2 to 7 days of order processing. Expedited 2-day shipping is available for a $65 fee.
The mattress is sealed in plastic and shipped in a compressed box.
For an additional fee, Allswell offers White Glove delivery and old mattress removal within the contiguous U.S.
The mattress comes with a 100-night sleep trial. Customers are eligible for a full refund if the return is requested within 100 days of receiving the item. Mattress removal and recycling fees are not refundable. Allswell mattresses purchased through Walmart may be subject to different terms and conditions.
Improper use that would void the mattress warranty also nullifies the sleep trial. Each household is eligible for one return per year.
The Brick has a 10-year limited warranty that is only valid for the original owner. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, as well as indentations greater than 1.5 inches. The warranty does not cover the softening of foam over time, which is considered standard wear and tear.
Customers should keep the original invoice and be prepared to supply photos showing the issue. Removing the law tag, using an improper bed foundation, or damage incurred as a result of improper use will all void the warranty.
Depending on the circumstance, eligible mattresses will either be repaired or replaced. Alternatively, the customer may receive a prorated refund.
Shipping fees may apply for repairs and returns. Replacement mattresses are not eligible for a new warranty.
