While the Lull Luxe provides enough motion isolation to keep most people sleeping soundly, light sleepers may notice when their partner rolls over. The quilted memory foam and gel-infused polyfoam layers muffle surface-level movement, but the bouncy transitional layer and pocketed coils may transfer motion when a sleeper changes position.
However, the foam-reinforced support core provides better-than-average edge support, which helps minimize disruptions from a sleep partner getting in and out of bed.
Overall, the Lull Luxe’s performance is comparable to the all-foam Lull Mattress, but sleepers who wake easily may want to look for a bed with stronger motion isolation.

Mattress Type: Hybrid
Firmness Options: Medium Firm (6)
Pros & Cons:
The Lull Luxe Mattress features a hybrid design with a pocketed coil support core and a memory foam and gel-infused polyfoam comfort system. Lull also sells the flagship all-foam Lull Mattress in addition to a range of sleep accessories such as bedding, pillows, and bed frames.
The Lull Mattress and Lull Luxe both have a medium firm (6) feel, but the Luxe is 3 inches thicker and features a quilted memory foam comfort layer and a pocketed coil support core.
Overall, the Luxe has a balanced construction that offers support with minimal contouring. While it has average performance for a hybrid in categories like motion isolation and pressure relief, the Lull Luxe Mattress offers above-average temperature regulation and ease of movement. The mattress’ core is also surrounded by high-density foam for reinforced edge support.
Deciding whether a mattress is right for you can be difficult, so we’ll break down our intensive research to help you learn more about the Lull Luxe’s performance, construction, and features.
Sleeping Style and Body Weight
In terms of support and overall comfort, your weight and sleep style have the most significant impact on which mattress is right for you. The medium firm feel and balanced construction of the Lull Luxe Mattress make it a good fit for many weight and sleep position combinations. Like most mattresses, however, it is more suitable for some people than others.
Side Sleepers
Side sleepers require a bed with adequate support for their spine and enough pressure relief to avoid waking up feeling sore or stiff. Beds that lack the latter feature don’t properly distribute weight and place undue stress on the areas where a sleeper’s body presses into the mattress. Over time, this can cause pressure points that lead to next-day pain.
While the Lull Luxe is suitable for side sleepers of all body types, it is best for those who weigh more than 130 pounds. Below this weight, the bed is supportive but may feel too firm, which can cause pressure points in the shoulders and hips. Side sleepers under 130 pounds may want to consider using a memory foam topper to help avoid this issue.
Side sleepers who weigh over 130 pounds will sink into the Lull Luxe more deeply, providing excellent pressure relief and weight distribution while still allowing for correct spinal alignment.
Back Sleepers
People who sleep on their back require a mattress that allows their spine to rest in a neutral position. The correct firmness is particularly important, as a bed that is too soft will let the hips sink too deeply into the mattress and place stress on the lower spine. Pressure relief is generally less important to back sleepers than side or stomach sleepers, but there should still be enough weight distribution to support the curve of the back.
The Lull Luxe Mattress is an excellent choice for most people who sleep on their back. In contrast with people who sleep on their side, the mattress performs better for back sleepers who weigh less than 230 pounds. Back sleepers who weigh over 230 pounds may still enjoy the Lull Luxe, but its medium firm feel may still be too soft for people in this range. For those who weigh less than 230 pounds, the mattress has the right balance of firmness and pressure relief.
Stomach Sleepers
Sleeping on your stomach places stress on your lower back as well as your neck and shoulders, so people who prefer this position require a very specific set of features to avoid pain or next-day stiffness. The bed must be supportive enough to allow the spine to rest in a neutral position with minimal tension while providing enough pressure relief to avoid stress and tension in the shoulders.
Stomach sleepers are the least likely to enjoy the Lull Luxe, though it is still a comfortable choice for those who weigh less than 230 pounds. For sleepers below this weight, the mattress is sufficiently supportive but lacks pressure relief in the neck and shoulders. People who weigh more than 230 pounds, on the other hand, are likely to find that the bed lacks support as well as pressure relief.

Lull Luxe Mattress Review Breakdown
The Lull Luxe is a hybrid mattress that measures 13 inches thick and rates as medium firm (6) on our 10-point firmness scale. Overall, it has a supportive and balanced construction that offers good pressure relief with light contouring. The bed sleeps cool, has good edge support, and is easy to move around on. While it’s a good fit for many side and back sleepers, the Lull Luxe Mattress is less suitable for people who prefer to sleep on their stomach.
Beneath a soft and breathable rayon-blend cover, the Lull Luxe’s comfort system begins with a quilted layer of memory foam. While not robust enough to provide the cradling effect of thicker memory foam, this layer still provides surface-level pressure relief without significant contouring, allowing for better airflow.
This initial layer is followed by a thicker layer of gel-infused polyfoam, which is more responsive than memory foam while still providing pressure relief. Although synthetic foams tend to sleep warm, the gel infusion is designed to offer better temperature control by minimizing heat retention. The comfort system finishes with a transitional layer of dense polyfoam, which is slightly bouncy and prevents sleepers from sinking too deeply into the mattress.
The pocketed coils used in the Lull Luxe’s support core compress individually when pressure is applied, which is one of the reasons that hybrid beds with these coils have better pressure relief and motion isolation than traditional innerspring mattresses. Air flows through the pocketed coils very well, which adds to the Luxe’s temperature neutrality. To provide better edge support, the core is also encased in high-density polyfoam.

The company does not operate brick-and-mortar stores and instead sells both the Lull Luxe and Lull Mattress through its official website and Amazon. However, mattresses purchased through Amazon are subject to different return policies
Lull offers free shipping within the contiguous U.S. and ships for a small subsidized fee to customers in Alaska and Hawaii.
Mattresses are typically shipped within 1 to 4 business days. Customers in Alaska and Hawaii may have a longer wait to receive their mattress, but tracking information is provided once it has shipped. Shipments are made through FedEx and other delivery services.
The Lull Luxe arrives compressed and packaged within both a plastic sleeve and a box.
Customers should unpack their new mattress right away. As the Lull Luxe is slightly heavier than most mattresses, it might be helpful to have someone assist you. The bed can take up to 48 hours to regain its proper size and shape, but it is usually able to be slept on within 3 or 4 hours.
Lull does not currently offer White Glove delivery or old mattress removal.
Mattresses purchased through the official Lull website can be returned within the first 365 nights. While the company reminds customers that it can take up to 30 days to adjust to a new bed, there is no mandatory break-in period. Should you choose to return your mattress during the trial period, the company will send a courier to pick it up at no cost before processing your full refund.
Purchases made through Amazon are eligible for a 100-night sleep trial. The entire return process is done through Amazon, and any questions should be directed to Amazon rather than Lull. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees on Amazon purchases.
Lull mattresses come with a non-transferable limited lifetime warranty. At the company’s discretion, Lull will repair or replace any mattress with manufacturing-related defects like indentations over 1.5 inches or flaws in the zipper or cover.
For the first 10 years, Lull will cover all shipping and handling charges related to repairing or replacing a mattress. After 10 years, the owner is charged a flat $75 transportation fee. The warranty only applies to mattresses purchased through an authorized retailer and is considered void if the product is improperly supported or misused.
